Grammar as Choice - Improving Writing and Reading with the centre for research in writing
We will illustrate how showing children the relationship between grammatical choices and the meanings they create in text enables them to become more independent and more meta-aware of the choices they make in writing. We will also highlight the importance of teachers grammatical and pedagogical subject knowledge in creating classrooms where children become creative and confident with language.
