Challenge the Gap Conference
Join us on 9th October 2018 at the Marriott Hotel, Portsmouth for our Challenge the Gap Conference. The Portsmouth Cluster for Challenge the Gap is a whole school improvement programme that builds capacity at all levels with the aim of breaking the link between poverty and poor outcomes for good. Leaders, teachers and para-professionals have been working together on Challenge the Gap as a Team that becomes a catalyst for change within their schools.
Our conference will be a celebration of our work and a dissemination of our key successes and outcomes across all schools in the project.
Participant schools will be sharing good practice, including interventions and tracking of positive progress made by disadvantaged pupils.
We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker will be Professor Sonia Blandford, author of ‘Born to Fail? Social Mobility, A Working Class View’ and ‘Achievement for All: Raising Aspirations, Access and Achievement’.
