This term we will be delivering the resource: Engineering in a Pandemic from the RAEng.
This looks at how Engineering can be used to support the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also has links to pathogens and how they spread, Polymorph materials to build virus models, and a kit to test materials ability to filter air in masks.
If you register for the session by 10th March at 5pm then you will receive a code to receive a sample student kit to carry out activities during the session. If you miss this deadline then you can still join the session and observe the activities. After attending the session you will be registered to then receive 20 student kits that include a booklet of activities and a packet of materials to support the activities.
