The Portsmouth Teaching School Alliance is a member of Leadership CoLab which is a partnership between UCL Institute of Education and over 200 outstanding schools and partners. We offer the National Professional Qualifications and run the Portsmouth Hub for NPQ delivery. The Leadership Curriculum is structured around three levels that reflect the different stages in a leader’s professional development and career.  It is for leaders who want to gain the National Professional Qualification for:

1. Middle Leadership (NPQML)

2. Senior Leadership (NPQSL)

3. Headship (NPQH)

Each of these programmes comprises blended learning (face-to-face, online and application in school), and school based project(s) which enable you to apply your leadership skills and impact pupil outcomes in a school setting. Participants have eighteen months to complete each programme.  All programmes are externally assessed leading to a professional qualification that will provide national recognition of leadership development and achievement.
