Our focus areas in this sixth year of Maths Hubs are the Network Collaboration Projects and the Innovation Work Groups for 2019/20.

The national network of 37 Maths Hubs offers professional development opportunities for anyone involved in the teaching of maths, with the aim of driving school-wide change.  Maths Hubs Work Groups are a series of nationally co-ordinated professional development projects for anyone involved in the teaching of maths, delivered locally and led by an expert, in which participants contribute to and learn from the national project.

As in previous years, schools and teachers can choose from several types of projects. They all have a focus on collaborative, evidence-based professional development. They all offer schools and teachers in all phases the chance to engage in CPD with colleagues from other schools over an extended period, and are led by a locally-based expert.
